Discussing The New Global B Corp Standards

This morning, we hosted our biggest B Corp Breakfast yet. More than 120 people signed up, the room sold out, and Rotunda Bar & Restaurant was buzzing from the moment the doors opened.

This time, the conversations centred on the new global B Corp standards. Sophie hosted a panel with Hannah Keartland (Keartland & Co) and Toby Radcliffe (ZeroBees), to talk about what's actually changed and what the standards now ask of businesses. 

They discussed whether B Corp should stay something more companies can aspire to, or become reserved for those operating at the very top. And they covered how small businesses can approach it all without losing themselves in the process. It was a much-needed discussion on a real challenge that doesn't get spoken about enough, and it kicked off plenty of conversations around the room afterwards.

For us, this all comes back to something we care about deeply: how the values a business claims to hold are reflected in how it actually operates.
