We hosted our second B Corp Breakfast, discussing why more companies should be showing the salary 🥐
This morning, we brought the London B Corp community together for the second time this year, and we had something to share:
Pollen has officially joined the We Show the Salary B Corps Collective, a group of UK B Corps taking collective action on salary transparency.
We believe that not disclosing the salary disadvantages the people already most likely to face barriers during the hiring process. And it quietly undermines the fair, open hiring we're trying to build, so joining this collective was a no-brainer.
To mark the occasion, we were lucky enough to have Ella McWilliam and Matt Collins join Sophie for a panel discussion on exactly why more companies should be showing the salary. It was a really great discussion, so a big thank you to both of them for coming along and being so open about their experiences.
And of course, thank you to everyone who joined us; The London Interdisciplinary School for hosting us in such a lovely space & Handlebar Barista for the most amazing coffee as always.
