Our founder, Sophie, and Pollen picked up not one but two Highly Commended awards: SEIS Investee and Entrepreneur of the Year!
Behind every role we fill and every candidate who gets a shot they deserve, there's a founder who built this from the ground up and refuses to cut corners doing it.
Our founder Sophie O'Brien and Pollen were recognised at the Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA) Awards at the House of Lords – picking up not one but two Highly Commended awards: SEIS Investee and Entrepreneur of the Year.
If you've followed Pollen for a while, you'll know this didn't happen overnight.
Building a platform, growing a community of 12,000 brilliant people, and creating a hiring process that genuinely works for candidates who get overlooked and employers who want to do better – takes time and conviction. We won't pretend it's always easy, but we'd be lying if we said we weren't having the best time doing it.
Congratulations to all the other finalists and winners on the night and especially to Female Founders Rise and their community. Female representation in investment remains far too low, and it's one more broken system worth fixing.
