Having faced challenges with lengthy processes to find the right fit, Pollen supported 4most in ensuring they could not only access the right skills, but a more diverse talent pool than they had previously been exposed to.

When 4most came to Pollen, they were facing significant challenges in finding the right junior people when scaling their business. They had experimented with recruiters and job boards for previous roles, but the results didn’t meet their expectations. Instead, the recruitment process had become slow and took time away from people who had other responsibilities to focus on. Without the proper attention given to the hiring process, 4most ended up hiring people who just were not a right fit.

What was the biggest challenge you faced with hiring before you started using Pollen?

Before working with Pollen, the biggest challenge we faced was the sheer amount of time we spent on the hiring process. We had to post job openings on standard job boards and we were flooded with CVs. We had to spend an enormous amount of time just sifting through them, and after all that, we still didn't get the personality or the motivation out of the candidates that we were looking for.

With Pollen, this problem was solved. We just got a few preselected candidates that were already a good cultural fit.

 Pollen just made our life so much easier.

What made Pollen stand out to you compared to other hiring solutions?

For me, it was their whole passion about the hiring process. Instead of selecting candidates using CVs, they went for personality and cultural fit. They did this by first getting to know 4most - our motivation, our passion, what drives us, what works well with our team - and then looking at candidates and finding out where they would fit in. This process worked so well for us because we believe that we can teach most areas as long as the person has the right cultural fit.

Given your plans for growth and hiring more junior team members, how did Pollen ensure they hired someone who aligns well with your existing culture?

Pollen made a difference for us in how they learned candidates' motivations and personality before they even brought them to us. This shortlist meant so much time saved, which is very helpful, especially when you're trying to scale a company.

How has Pollen changed your overall hiring process?

Pollen has changed our entire hiring process drastically, because they saved us so much time. Previously, it might have taken us months to hire a candidate, whereas with Pollen, they already select great candidates for us. They constantly push for feedback for candidates, and they give us feedback as well in order to provide candidates with a good experience.

Would you recommend Pollen to other companies?

I would definitely recommend Pollen to other companies because it works so much better than traditional methods. They don't work with CVs, they focus on personality and skills, which makes it so that your candidate will start their role soon and stay longer, saving you and everyone else so much time and frustration.
